About the event
Singer/songwriter Brian Dolzani’s intrigue and obsession with Neil Young’s music happened in High School when he turned on to the entire tone of classic rock. ‘Among all this music I suddenly loved and needed, I knew Neil was special to me. The high & lonesome, mourning voice, the otherworldly lyrics...it was the world I wanted to be in’. As Brian’s own songwriting developed, he has always looked to Neil for inspiration.
‘In my teens I introjected Neil’s sound out of pure love and relation, and it’s just the way I sing’, Brian explains. ‘Neil’s approach to songwriting and being an artist has always been my North Star’.
